thought id share my recent accomplishment on my weight training i started today.
i ran straight down my house street for 5 minutes straight and walked the way back to get my muscles warmed up. afterward, i completed 3 sets of 8 reps of dumbell bench press, 3 sets of 9 reps of dumbell bent over row, 3 sets of 10 reps of dumbell shoulder press, and 3 sets of 11 reps of dumbell skull crushers.
feelings: the bench press was pretty easy going, started to feel more of a workout towards the 2nd set of my bent over rows in my arms, shoulder press were kind of painful but it might just be because i wasn't performing the exercise correctly..., and skull crushers made me feel like my overall workout finished great.
overall: felt really good after, felt like air was really refreshing.(if that makes any sense)? lol.. after walking downstairs to get a glass of water and sat down for a bit i started to feel some mild sore/pain in my muscles which is probably good.
going to keep going at my cardio and weight training..havnt been really on top with my self on the whole low carb diet but its never too late to catch myself and put myself back on track. =] hoping to keep up the good work and see some visual progress soon..

0lbs.
Finally, i have built enough self-motivation to get into a diet plan for myself! Thank god for the new year and with school coming in about 10 days, perfect time to start off on a slim down health plan. The goal for this diet is to drop down 25-30lbs. The above number 0 signifies my starting weight loss in lbs as of the beginning of my journey towards being healthy and slim. Other diets I not only have found myself limiting foods that i love but just skipping meals and eating very low amount of calories. This diet, I've decided to take a different approach, something new that i'm almost 100% guaranteed in success. After a lot of researching and reading reviews, I have personally came up with my own selected diet plan where i've taken bits and pieces of tips and rules from personal trainers to basic healthy eating infortmation to set the perfect combination diet plan for myself.
Basically, I wont be completely cutting out a humans' all-time favorite, CARBS well, bad ones such as pasta, rice, breads, pastries, etc but instead, i'll select HEALTHIER CARBS such as whole grains, vegetables, fruits, and beans and select skim-low fat milk, lean meats, which are just as good and only cut out processed meats. Even a thought in mind that i might consider later down the road is to become a Pescatarian..but thats just a thought that can be decided later after much more research and thought is put towards it.
I will always try to eat a decent breakfast every morning, snacks in between meals, a reasonable lunch, and a smaller low carb dinner. Water will be essential in this diet, not only will it help metabolize stored fat but can be used as an appetite suppressant because it will trick my hunger of being full. Along with these few rules, i will be taking Nutrilite Carb Blocker 2- which is designed for people who are managing their intake of carbohydrates.
It is said:
NUTRILITE Carb Blocker 2 is an exclusive product designed to inhibit digestion of carbohydrates from certain sugars and starches, such as breads, cereals, pasta, rice, and starchy vegetables.
NUTRILITE Carb Blocker 2 includes a combination of scientifically-substantiated ingredients such as white kidney bean extract and other phytonutrient ingredients. White bean extract binds to an enzyme (alpha-amylase) that breaks down starch molecules.
and from many of the people who have/are taking Nutrilite carb blocker 2 have resulted in weight loss of 20lbs in 2-3 months with regular exercise. I have found this to be very helpful with the diet plan i have built for myself.
Regular exercise will be completed 3+ days a week. I will try to walk around my neighborhood for about 30min-1hr and hit the gym 2-4 days a week depending on my workload with school.
This diet really isnt anything too extreme therefore i am expecting results and hopefully reach my goal by my 21st birthday this coming May. I will try to keep myself informed on the progress weekly and anytime i feel like jotting down my success along this mission to finally lose weight. I wish myself good luck and hoping for some results soon. Pictures will be attached later on with results.
Wish me luck,

Ok so I feel like it might be a little too early to blog on a random post such as this.. which is obviously unrelated to fashion, makeup, or beauty in any way, shape, or form.
Well, unless you are some nymph that cant get enough of penis's and their natural form in accidental situations in life such as this honey walnut taking the shape of a penis with a smaller right testicle.. then by all means, I hope you enjoy this early post of randomness I couldn't help but post.
Note: I am no penis nymph, just very amused by this accidental walnut penis I ran into while joyfully consuming my honey walnut prawns at China Palace with the boyfriend around 11 pm, Damnit. Another reason why I am posting, to remind myself of the guilt I should be dreading for eating so god damn late and of all things, Chinese food. horrible (delicious).

10 DIY Kitchen Beauty Tips found on MakeupandBeautyblog.com
Who says you have to spend half of your paycheck on skin and hair care products to look your best? Why not just turn your kitchen’s pantry into your beauty bar and save a few bucks? All it takes are a few edible ingredients, an open mind and some DIY kitchen beauty tips.
- Strawberries – These wondrous red berries aren’t merely delicious when they’re sliced and drizzled with balsamic vinegar, oh no. Strawberries are also your best friend for natural teeth-whitening. Once per day before your regular brushing and flossing (because of the sugar in the strawberries), mash two or three berries in a small bowl, and carefully, but vigorously, brush your teeth with this berry paste (you may want to dedicate a toothbrush to it, as the one you use will probably stain). Look for results within a week or two.
- Honey – Pretty much a savior for skin and hair. Honey acts as a natural antiseptic and antifungal, and it’s also a fantastic humectant, preserving moisture in the skin. Try dabbing a bit over broken facial acne to speed the repair process (test on a small area first), mix a small amount in with your conditioner for a moisturizing and yummy-smelling hair mask, or place on your mouth overnight to wake up with full, luscious lips. Be careful, however, as honey tends to stick…everywhere. Use less than you initially think you’ll need, and add to it bit by bit from there.
- Potatoes – An odd one, yes. But there’s a certain compound in potatoes that’s been shown to help reduce swelling and puffiness. Using a vegetable peeler, shred a small amount of potato, let it chill in the fridge for a while, and then place the chilled potato magic under your eyes. For the next 15 minutes or so, sit and read a good book, watch a little television, or talk to your cat. When you remove the odd treatment, voila! There should be less puff under those eyes.
- Cinnamon – This fantastic spice also has great skincare benefits! Who knew? Mix a bit in with your favorite lipgloss to turn it into a lip-plumper. Or, try making a facial mask out of honey and cinnamon that can be used to help dry out acne and exfoliate dull, tired skin.
- Yogurt – A fantastic moisturizing agent as well as a skin exfoliant (due to the lactic acid it contains). Use as a cooling facial mask to wake up dull, tired, or dry winter skin, or soak hands in it to help soften and heal cuticles; in either case, the thicker the yogurt, generally the better it works.
- Turmeric – This strong smelling, yellowish spice is great for fading skin discolorations and post-acne scarring. Mix it with just enough lime juice (another great fading agent) to make a medium-thickness paste, and dab onto discolored skin only. Leave on for about 20 minutes before rinsing off with warm water. The area treated may take on a temporary yellow tint that should fade with another washing or two, but still — this is a treatment probably better suited to weekend nights.
- Cranberry Juice – And we ain’t talkin’ ‘bout that sugary cocktail stuff. Spain’s raven-haired beauties still use pure cranberry juice to this day to keep their locks shining and lustrous. In the shower, use it as a post conditioner rinse. Pour over damp hair, massage in for a minute or two, and then let it sit for as long as you can before rinsing thoroughly.
- Coffee – Coffee serves multiple benefits depending on whether you use it brewed or in its ground form. Brewed dark roast can be used as a post-conditioner wash to add richness to brunette, auburn, and dark blonde hair. Instant coffee can be added to conditioner for near the same effect, and plain ‘ol coffee grounds are a fantastic exfoliator. Mix with your favorite facial wash to give that face a good scrubbin’, or take it straight to your dry bod.
- Salt – Natural sea salt is a great exfoliant and healing agent. Using small circular motions, rub down your entire dry body with straight up salt before your shower for a fantastic glow (make sure to use a rich moisturizer afterwards). Or (be careful with this one), try making a thick paste out of sea salt and honey, and place on stubborn acne. Be warned — it’ll sting like a jellyfish, but it works wonders for me.
- Apple cider vinegar – This stuff is simply amazing. Pour some in a spritzer bottle, and use it as a facial toner to sop up extra oil and to regulate your skin’s pH levels. Dab some on ruddy cheeks or inflamed skin to take down redness. Use as a post-conditioner rinse to lock in moisture and shine, as well as protecting color and removing product build-up. Drink two tablespoons a day to decrease natural body odour, improve overall skin quality, and aid digestion. Amazing.

New Year, New Year.
Personally, I feel that New Years is a great holiday for individuals to take advantage of. It seems that it has become a way for myself and I'm sure many others, to really jump onto those personal goals that have collected over the months and days of procrastination. It's all of those personal goals that you easily forget within the next day of announcing it.. but funny isn't it? that by the end of the year, all of those quickly forgotten goals start to pop like popcorn and promptly begin to collect in the back of your head.
Now I know that procrastination is a b*tch because you either 1. Never get the duty done or 2. Get it done with a shitload of stress on your shoulders. Either way, I've found a way to capture the essence of procrastination but it only applies with the whole New Years thing:
To capture the essence of procrastination you need to understand that New Years goes in hand with procrastination, its like a must. In order for us to really start building a New Years Resolution List we must have some kind of personal imperfection right? and in this case, what better way then to rely on what we do best throughout the year? YES! ....Thank you Procrastination! for all of those unsuccessful goals that have resulted in failure, we now have a whole list of self determined destinations to look forward to along with the new year.
Yes, the secret of procrastination seems to be it's close relationship between human and our basic way of functioning..we procrastinate like hell! but it works as a cycle, once completed goals are succeeded, leftover unfinished goals are pushed into the next following year until success is finally reached.
So after all has been said, here is a note to self and/or my collection of previous unfinished business that I've been putting off for the last couple years in hopes of this year to complete:

Hi everyone! welcome to my post numero uno of my first ever beauty blog I have finally decided to make!
Just a little short intro to who I am:
My name is Mimi. Im twenty years old living in the U.S. My ethnicity is Korean-American and I'm absolutely addicted to finding new information about beauty, fashion, health, and just about anything/ everything! I love to stumble upon many creative ideas and techniques from other beauty guru's and apply them to my life. <3
The main intent of this blog is to be used as a personal beauty notebook? basically, a place where I can jot down helpful tips, reviews/swatches, make wish lists, hauls and basically anything that is beauty related. Hopefully this blog will come in handy to not only myself but to the many other beauty addicts such as yourself perhaps?
Anyways I hope that I can share with you many useful information that you can benefit from :) also keep in mind that there might be some randomness throughout the blog. There may be some personal information that you may take no interest upon and in that case, feel free to do some scroll- action, hehe. Otherwise, sit back, relax, and enjoy my blog!
